世界最大の民間教育団体ASCDを母体にするJapan ASCDは、毎年一回テクノロジーを使った教育のイベント（Try IT On Monday）を催しています。
Try It On Mondayの主旨は、「土曜日に学んだ知識やアイディアを月曜日に使ってみよう」といったところです。様々な先生が先生に向けてワークショップをする形で、情報の共有をします。ネット上では、ソーシャルネットワーキングサイトを使ってコミュニティーを持っています。現在３００名以上のメンバーがいます。
インターナショナルスクールでは、いち早く２１世紀型教育を導入し、カリキュラムづくりが行われています。どの学校もインフラ整備が早く、幼稚園から高校までコンピューターを一人一台使わせる環境やオーバーヘッドプロジェクター、サーバー、WIFIなどが完備されています。また、それを活かすためのカリキュラムづくりがとても進んでいます。 そうした環境を見るだけでも、価値があるかと思います。ご検討ください。どうぞよろしくお願い致します。

2012 Presenters - Is there anyone interested in having their workshop broadcast live on USTREAM? We would like to extend our reach across international schools in Japan. In each session we would like one presenter to be online. live. This is on a voluntary basis, of course. Please respond to this posting if you are a presenter and interested.

TIOM 2012にお越し頂き、ありがとうございました。
おかげさまで総勢１００名の方々にお越し頂きました。今年のTIOMはインターナショナルスクールの教員の方々に限らず、日本の学校関係者にも多く参加頂き、大盛況となりました。
